  • Reporting to: Non-life Insurance Senior Adjudicator

Requirements:

  • NQF 7: Diploma or Advanced Certificate
  • 3 – 5 years related professional experience
  • 0 – 2 years managerial experience
  • In-depth knowledge of Non-life insurance environment

Main Focus Areas:

  • Ensure effective implementation and the successful execution of Non-Life Insurance Adjudication Operational Performance Targets as approved by the Board.
  • Monitor, manage, and improve where necessary, the operational performance of the Non-Life Insurance Case administrators and Legal Interns.
  • Ensure responsible management of information management in line with regulatory and policy requirements and ensure prompt reporting of POPIA breaches.
  • Maintain a healthy organisational culture and support change management initiatives.
  • Coaching and provision of guidance to Case administrators and legal interns
  • Engage with the Non-Life Insurance financial institutions, as required.
  • Expedite the resolution of matters by effectively communicating with relevant parties.
  • Ensure the Non-life Insurance Senior Adjudicator is aware, where appropriate, of the views of the workforce on issues of relevance to the business.
  • Effective use of and compliance to NFO adjudication processes and quality standards for dispute resolution in Non-Life Insurance SCH Department.
  • Monitor customer service levels and address issues to improve service levels.
  • Track completion of complaint applications to SCH administrators within agreed timeframe.
  • Effectively address cases fee reversal requests within the agreed timeframes.
  • Identifying and delivering initiatives which will improve the performance of the Non-Life Insurance division as part of the NFO team
  • Participating in the development of operational changes such as processes and quality standards
Credit Adjudication Division

Adjudicator (Ref no CA5)

  • Full-time position
  • Reporting to: Credit Senior Adjudicator

Requirements:

  • NQF 7: Diploma or Advanced Certificate
  • 3 – 5 years related professional experience
  • 0 – 2 years managerial experience
  • Admitted Attorney
  • In-depth knowledge of Credit environment
  • Governance, Legal / Best Practice Compliance

  • Ensure effective implementation and the successful execution of Credit Adjudication Operational Performance Targets as approved by the Board.

  • Expedite the resolution of matters by effectively communicating with relevant parties.
  • Ensure the Credit Senior Adjudicator is aware, where appropriate, of the views of the workforce on issues of relevance to the business.
  • Expedite the resolution of matters by effectively communicating with relevant parties.
  • Effective use of and compliance to NFO adjudication processes and quality standards for complex dispute resolution in Credit Adjudication Division.
  • Monitor customer service levels and address issues to improve service levels.
  • Track completion of credit information matters by credit case administrators within agreed timeframe
  • Ensure adherence to own performance targets set for the open file count, turnaround times and for administration and adjudication, number of monthly file closures (diary/workbench, workflow notifications).
  • Effectively address case closure correspondence within the agreed timeframes
  • Identifying and delivering initiatives which will improve the performance of the Credit Adjudication Division as part of the NFO team
  • Participating in the development of operational changes such as processes and quality standards.
Life Insurance Adjudication Division

Senior Adjudicator (Ref no LA5)

  • Reporting to: Life Insurance Manager Adjudication

Requirements:

  • NQF 7: Relevant Honours Degree or Postgraduate Diploma
  • 5 – 10 years related professional experience
  • 0 – 2 years managerial experience
  • Admitted Attorney
  • In-depth knowledge of Life insurance environment
  • Governance, Legal / Best Practice Compliance
